David Thorn

David Thorn, owner of Thorn Restoration & Renovation, grew up working on renovation, restoration and remodeling projects as part of an industrious family who had a love for restoring old homes. He has also been salvaging old building materials, windows, and antique beams since he was a teenager and works to restore and incorporate these items into new projects, whenever possible.

David has a unique background and blend of experience that he brings to every job. His mother, a successful interior designer, influenced his understanding of design. He draws upon that perspective when approaching remodeling projects today.

After graduating from college with a degree in art, David gained experience managing a customer service unit for financial services firm. This experience gave him a keen understanding of customer needs and how to work with customers to ensure satisfaction.

In 2002, David started his own business handling small home improvement projects.  Since that time, the company has quickly grown into a full-service company that manages restoration and renovation of homes and commercial projects as well as builds new construction.
